Charity Quilts are crib quilts made
by members and distributed to children in hospitals throughout
the NYC area.
The Quilters' Guild of Brooklyn commits itself to
make at least one Charity Quilt for each member in each calendar
year. This effort culminates in our annual "Charity Frenzy", where
we gather after a meeting to mass produce quilts. Thread,
fabric and batting fly fast and furious as we assembly-line
over 50 quilts in one afternoon.
